Sitewright is the trading name of Sitewright MB Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC896445), registered office 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4AN. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. You can reach us at hello@sitewright.xyz.
We use your details to reply to you, arrange and hold calls, prepare proposals, deliver and invoice our work, and keep the records the law requires. We use the anonymous analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your information and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.
Under UK GDPR we rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract once you are a client. For keeping business and tax records we rely on our legal obligations. For the anonymous analytics we rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving this website.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, who process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting and analytics), our email provider, our call scheduling tool, and our accountant and bank for invoicing. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they are covered by UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Client records and invoices are kept for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax purposes.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email hello@sitewright.xyz and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
